NAB Show 2027 furniture rental needs to be locked in earlier than most exhibitors expect: the show runs April 4–7, 2027 in the West, Central and North Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, roughly two weeks earlier on the calendar than the 2026 show. That shifts every booking, design and move-in deadline forward, and the exhibitors who plan around the old April timing will be shopping a picked-over inventory.
This guide covers what NAB booths actually need, how to plan furniture by zone and booth size, how working with an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) compares to the general contractor, and a working timeline for the 2027 show.

Why NAB Show Furniture Is Different
NAB exhibitors sell cameras, lighting, switchers, displays and the software that runs modern media. Their visitors judge everything visually, including the booth. A lounge that looks tired under show-floor lighting, or a demo desk that reflects glare into a camera, works against the product being sold.
Large NAB island booths commonly run three to five distinct zones, each with a different job: a live or recorded demo set, product stations, a hosted lounge for key accounts, enclosed or semi-private meeting space, and a staffed welcome point. Each zone needs furniture chosen for function first, then finish.
The LVCC move-in window is also tight and scheduled by hall. Furniture that arrives after your labor call, or that doesn’t fit the freight elevator or marshaling plan, costs you installation time you can’t get back.
NAB Show 2027 Furniture Rental Checklist by Booth Zone
Camera-Facing Demo and Broadcast Sets
If your team is streaming, recording interviews or running live product demos, treat the set like a studio. Choose matte or soft-finish surfaces near the lens, keep seating at a consistent height for two-shot interviews, and leave room for light stands and cable runs.
What to reserve: presenter or counter-height desks, matched pairs of interview chairs, pedestals for hero products, and illuminated pieces placed behind talent rather than beside the lens.
Client Hospitality Lounges
At NAB, the lounge is where pipeline gets built. Seat key accounts away from aisle noise and give them a place to set down a coffee and a laptop. A sofa plus two chairs and a coffee table seats four to five people in roughly a 10×10 footprint.
What to reserve: lounge sofas and chairs, coffee and end tables, and an Illuminated Sofa if you want one statement piece that reads from across the hall.
Meeting Areas
Buyers at NAB often arrive with technical questions and budgets. Give sales engineers a table-height surface and comfortable chairs for 30-minute conversations, separated from the demo noise by a wall panel or the booth structure.
What to reserve: 30″-high cafe or conference tables, executive or cafe chairs, and wall panels to define the space.
Reception, Registration and Bars
A staffed counter at the booth entry controls traffic, captures badge scans and anchors your branding. For evening hospitality or happy-hour activations, a bar becomes the gathering point.
What to reserve: registration counters such as the Lemonade Registration Counter (Illuminated), and LED and illuminated bars for receptions. Island booths with a central hospitality hub often use the 8ft Diameter Round LED Bar or the 12ft Diameter Round LED Bar so staff can serve from the middle.
Charging Furniture
NAB attendees carry phones, tablets and laptops through long show days. Powered seating and tables keep them in your booth longer and give your staff a natural reason to start a conversation. See our guide to charging furniture rental in Las Vegas or browse charging furniture.
How Much Furniture Does a NAB Booth Need?
- 10×10 inline: one counter or two bar tables with stools; focus on a single product station.
- 10×20 inline: a counter, two bar tables with stools, and a small two-seat meeting area.
- 20×20 island: a lounge group, a meeting table for four, a demo desk and a welcome counter.
- 40×40 and larger islands: multiple lounges, a central bar or hospitality hub, enclosed meeting space and a camera-facing set.
Layouts for each size, with furniture counts, are in our booth furniture rental guide. Exact dimensions and weights for floor plans are in trade show furniture dimensions.
EAC vs. General Contractor at NAB Show
Every major Las Vegas show has an official general contractor that offers a standard furniture catalog. Exhibitors can usually bring in an Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC) instead, provided they file the show’s EAC notification by the deadline in the exhibitor manual. Working directly with a furniture EAC typically gives you a wider design range, custom pieces and one point of contact from layout to strike.
If you plan to use Modern Event Rental at NAB Show 2027, check the EAC deadline in your exhibitor service kit as soon as it’s released and send us your booth number; we’ll handle the paperwork that follows. More detail: trade show furniture rental and the general contractor and renting direct vs. through the contractor.
NAB Show 2027 Furniture Rental Timeline
- November–December 2026: finalize booth size and zones; request a furniture quote with your floor plan.
- Early January 2027: confirm island-booth furniture and any custom or branded pieces.
- Mid-February 2027: confirm inline-booth furniture; file EAC paperwork per the exhibitor manual.
- Early March 2027: lock final quantities, placement drawing and delivery time with your labor schedule.
- Late March–early April 2027: delivery and installation during your assigned LVCC move-in window.

Because the 2027 show opens in the first week of April, these dates are earlier than last year’s. Teams that also exhibit at CES 2027 in January should plan NAB furniture before CES move-in, not after. See our CES 2027 furniture rental guide.

How far in advance should I book NAB Show 2027 furniture rental?
